Got a question?
Where is coverage offered?
execMobile has partnered with the biggest network operators globally to ensure there is high- speed data coverage wherever you travel. There will always be great coverage in cities and towns, however if you are traveling to exceptionally rural or uninhabited areas (such as a ski resort), we recommend you get in touch with us in advance so we can verify there is network coverage.
What is data download/upload speed?
Data speeds depend on our partner networks and coverage. The connection can either be 2G (GPRS), 3G or H (HSDPA), with 2G being the least fast and H being the fastest. Download speeds will be around 7.2 Mbps, while the upload speed around 5.76 Mbps. In some countries (e.g. USA) we offer higher 4G speeds with devices that are capable of LTE connections.
What is 3G?
3G, or 3rd generation of mobile telecommunications technology, is a wireless communications technology which supports telephone, internet, and data access. HSDPA, or high-speed downlink packet access, is a communications protocol which allows 3G networks to have higher data transfer speeds and capacity. CDMA, or code division multiple access, is a data channel access method used by communication technologies.
What is 2G?
2G, or 2nd generation wireless telephone technology, is a wireless communication technology which supports data services and phone communication. It was the first digitally encrypted standard, and allowed SMS text messages. EDGE, or 2.75G, networks introduced enhanced data services. These networks are still in use today for some phone call and text messaging services as well as basic data services. Shopping Cart
